The UWF students, alumni and friends thought their president, Judy Bense, was going to announced a football program by 2013 or 2014. No, what they got was the announcement of another study to study football. Talk about a letdown, the announcement had more evidence that this area loves to establish committees, hire consultants and study issues.
Well, at least, Dr. Bense got a helmet for her office.
