Hobbs on FBI National Academy [podcast]

ECSO Commander Andrew Hobbs recently completed a 10-week course with the FBI National Academy. He is the first from the sheriff’s office to complete the FBI training in over a decade. Sheriff Chip W. Simmons and Chief Deputy Tommi Lyter graduated from the law enforcement executive program while serving with the Pensacola Police Department

FBI National Academy focused on communication, leadership, and fitness training led by FBI Academy instructors, special agents, and other staff with advanced degrees. The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for the U.S. and international law enforcement managers nominated by their agency heads because of demonstrated leadership qualities.
