- “Serving on the executive team has been a privilege, and I have enjoyed working alongside some of the most talented professionals dedicated to Navy Federal’s mission,” Hoskins wrote.
He added, “As I look forward to the next phase of my life, I will always cherish my time here. I want to personally thank Mary McDuffie, Debbie Calder, Kara Cardona, and Dietrich Kuhlmann for their extraordinary leadership and support during my tenure. I also appreciate the many who mentored, guided, and supported me along my journey. Wishing the entire Navy Federal Credit Union team the very best moving forward!”
Hoskins served as commanding officer of Naval Air Station Pensacola from 2013 to 2016, overseeing more than 25,000 military and civilian personnel. During that period, NAS Pensacola received the Commander in Chief’s Installation Excellence Award in 2015. Before becoming base commander, Hoskins flew as an FA-18 pilot with the Blue Angels.
After leaving active duty, Hoskins moved into major Pensacola-area leadership roles. He served as western district general manager at Gulf Power in the Pensacola area, then joined Navy Federal Credit Union’s Greater Pensacola Operations campus, eventually becoming executive vice president of branch operations and later leader of a military affairs and strategic partnerships unit.
- Hoskins and his wife Lori established the Empowering Women Through Sports Endowed Scholarship at Pensacola State College in 2022. The scholarship supports female student-athletes, specifically female soccer players with community service involvement. He also served on the Pensacola State College Foundation Board of Governors from 2017 to 2020 and chaired a comprehensive campaign while on the board.
Navy Federal Credit Union has become one of the biggest economic anchors in Pensacola. Its Greater Pensacola Operations campus grew from a small contact center opened in 2003 into a large regional headquarters-style campus with more than 2 million square feet and nearly 10,000 employees in the area.
