How Pensacola City Council voted on its officers

We’ve had the ballots for the Pensacola City Council’s election of president and vice president for some time, but the ATF report on the county jail blast took our focus in a different direction.

Two weeks ago, the council elected Andy Terhaar and Larry Johnson, as president and vice president respectively. Here is how the secret ballots played out.

For the president first round:

Andy Terhaar 3 votes – himself, Johnson and Brian Spencer
Jewel Cannada-Wynn 2 votes – herself, Gerald Wingate
Charles Bare 2 votes – himself, Sherri Myers
P.C. Wu – 1 votes – himself

Second round:
Andy Terhaar 3 votes – himself, Johnson and Spencer
Jewel Cannada-Wynn 3 votes – herself, Wingate, P.C. Wu
Charles Bare 2 votes – himself, Myers

Third round:
Andy Terhaar 4 votes – himself, Johnson, Spencer. Wu
Jewel Cannada-Wynn 4 votes – herself, Wingate, Myers, Bare

Fourth round
Andy Terhaar 5 votes – himself, Johnson, Spencer, Wu, Bare
