Ice Flyers celebrate second consecutive championship tonight

The Pensacola Bay Center is hosting an event to celebrate the Pensacola Ice Flyers’ second straight President’s Cup championship on Tuesday, Apr. 15. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 6:45. WEAR 3 ABC Sports Director Dan Shugart will serve as the Master of Ceremonies with appearances by special dignitaries including Congressman Jeff Miller and Escambia County Commissioner, District 2, Gene Valentino.

Fans can enter the Bay Center through the ground level doors on the west side of the arena next to the Box Office. Prior to the ceremony, fans can take pictures with Ice Flyers mascot Maverick and both the President’s Cup and Coffey Trophy (regular season championship) in Meeting Room A on the main level of the Bay Center. When fans head into the arena, they are to sit in sections 130, 101, and 102. After the ceremony, the Ice Flyers will be available for a full team autograph session on the west concession concourse.
