The Pensacola Bay Center will host a championship celebration for the Pensacola Ice Flyers Monday, May 9. This celebration will mark the third one in four seasons after the Ice Flyers swept the Peoria Rivermen in the 2016 SPHL President’s Cup Final this past Thursday.
The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the plaza next to the Box Office. The Ice Flyers and the SPHL President’s Cup will be there for pictures with the fans.
Those in attendance can also enjoy some food and beverages while supplies last. There will be packages containing hot dogs and popcorn provided by SMG, SAVOR… Pensacola, and the Ice Flyers. There will also be a choice of drink with soft drinks and water provided by Coca-cola as well as beer provided by the Lewis Bear Company. These packages are limited to two per person while supplies last and are free!
At 7:45 p.m., the championship ceremony will begin inside the Bay Center.
Championship t-shirts will be available to purchase for $20, and championship team photos for $10. Fans will also be able to pre-order the official championship hats that the Ice Flyers wore post-game.
