Press Release: The Pelicans Training Academy will start its first Adult Dodgeball League this fall. The league’s regular season begins on October 4th and runs through November 8th. Each team is guaranteed 12 games during the six-week season. League playoffs will be November 10th – 29th.
Regular season and playoff games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Pelicans Training Academy (4920 N. Davis Hwy). The first game each night will start at 6 p.m.
The winning team will receive a trophy and be honored prior to a 2012 Pensacola Blue Wahoos game.
Mellow Mushroom is the presenting sponsor of the Pelicans Training Academy Adult Dodgeball League. As the presenting sponsor, Mellow Mushroom (5175 Bayou Boulevard) will host the preseason captain’s meeting and the postseason celebration.
Teams must consist of six to 10 players. Registration is $250 per team and includes uniform t-shirts for each player. The team registration deadline is September 20th. Registration forms are available at the Pensacola Mellow Mushroom location or teams may register by phone at (850) 934-8444.
