GOP political strategist Rick Wilson wrote a great column for The Daily Beast on Ted Cruz – Ted Cruz Is Brilliant but His Strategy Sucks.
Until recently, Sen. Ted Cruz has avoided confrontations with the Republican frontrunner. Wilson has described Cruz’s behavior towards Trump as “feeding the alligator in hopes that it eats him last.â€
In this column, Wilson writes:
“Cruz has the resources and the conservative pedigree to bring a case against Trump, but his political calculus has been so wrong for so long that he merely delayed the Donald’s strike against him.”
