IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area will hold a press conference to announce the semi-finalists for their 2011 grants.

There will be 10 semi-finalists announced at the press conference, as well as information outlining each semi-finalist’s grant proposal. Two semi-finalists will be named in each of the five focus areas of Arts & Culture; Education; Environment, Recreation and Preservation; Family; and Health & Wellness. The organization is pleased to announce that its 2011 membership reached 645 members. This will enable the organization to award 6 grants of 107,500 each at its annual meeting. Each semi-finalist organization will have the opportunity to present their project at the IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 16, 2011, where the voting will take place.
One grant will be awarded in each of the group’s focus areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Environment, Recreation and Preservation; Family; and Health & Wellness. After the five grants are awarded, a sixth grant will then be awarded to a remaining semi-finalist in the focus area that receives the most IMPACT 100 members’ votes
