Ryan Hatler gave me an introduction into the heart of Acadia. Oil is king here. Average wage $90k which beats Escambia Co. $8/hr.

People were open and straight- forward. Oil dominates life. Support for victims of explosion, but also see offshore work necessary for those who drive cars. Very pragmatic.

Can’t wait to go back for Mardi Gras in Eunice.
