In south Louisiana

I am in Lafayette Parish to interview oil workers. Got on the road at 3 am. Rainstorm has hit area. Now stuck in traffic jam on I-10. First interview will be over a breakfast of boudin and cracklin’.

Radio station WWL is asking listeners for favorite seafood dish…if this was there last seafood for awhile. Coast Guard capt said on radio most of oil is dissolving underwater, more is evaporating on the surface. He claims disperants and burning are keeping oil at bay. He refused to say leak is more than 5000 bbls a day.
