Ingram files fertilizer bill

The Florida Tribune reports that Rep. Clay Ingram, a freshman state lawmaker from Pensacola, filed HB 457 last week. The bill prohibits local governments from regulating fertilizers while also granting the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services the exclusive authority to regulate fertilizer use and sale.
