Ingram petition drive in full swing

PENSACOLA-Clay Ingram, Republican candidate for State House District 2, announced his intention to qualify for the ballot by the petition method.

“This is just another way that we will be reaching out and meeting the voters face-to-face,” Ingram said. “My campaign is going to be run from the grassroots up.”

Ingram will be going door-to-door to collect the required number of signatures to appear on the August primary ballot.

Clay Ingram is a Pensacola native and a graduate of Tate High School. After high school, Ingram walked-on to play football for Florida State University.

Since returning to Pensacola, Ingram has worked in real estate at the H.C. Ingram Group and Kenneth Payne Properties. He is currently teaching and coaching football at Tate High School.

Clay Ingram is active in the community as a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, the Cantonment Rotary Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Clay is married to the former Leslie Cagle of Birmingham, Alabama.

Clay Ingram is running as Republican for State House District 2. District 2 is currently held by State Representative Dave Murzin who is leaving office due to term limits.
