Innisfree, Luna Fine Art present acclaimed artist [podcast]

Innisfree Hotels is proud to present the art of renowned sculptor and educator Michael Boles in an upcoming six-week exhibit at Luna Fine Art Gallery, located within the beautiful Hilton Pensacola Beach.

The property will host an opening Art Reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 14, at the gallery, 12 Via De Luna Drive. The exhibit will then be on display through the end of November.

All commissions from sales of Boles’ art at the gallery will go toward the Brilliant Star Scholarship Fund to benefit students at Dixon School of Arts and Sciences in Pensacola. Luna Fine Art Gallery is part of The Hive, Innisfree Hotels’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The gallery, a long-time dream of Innisfree Chairman and Founder Julian MacQueen, provides a venue to promote the arts and support the work of local and regional artists.

“We’re incredibly excited to host an artist of Michael’s caliber, talent, and prestige at Luna Fine Art Gallery within Innisfree’s Hilton Pensacola Beach, and we’re eager to donate our portion of potential sales to a great cause,” said Ted Ent, President and CEO of Innisfree Hotels. “We hope that our guests, art collectors, and other visitors will stop by to appreciate this gorgeous work.”

Boles, who lives in Florida and has exhibited his art throughout the United States, describes his abstract work in his Artist Statement: “Abstraction doesn’t come from an artist’s inability to duplicate reality. Abstraction comes from an artist’s desire to generate an entirely different form of reality. As a sculptor, I have chosen to dedicate my imagery to the real and non-illusory realm. All of my images are objects, real things. Even my drawings and prints can become freestanding or relief sculptures in their own right.”
