I have had two conversations with people concerning the victim of the sexual assault at Tate High School. The girl is rumored to have a history of sexual misconduct and there are people rallying around the suspect claiming the he is a good person and the girl was a willing participant.
The law is clear. Lewd or lascivious battery occurs when a person engages in sexual activity with a person 12 years of age or older but less than 16 years of age. Neither the victim’s lack of chastity nor the victim’s consent is a defense to the crime.

This is bull S***. You people are sitting here on your lil’ computers saying that she’s a victim. If you actually knew her, you’d know that she willingly did the same action in 7 and 8th grade.
Shut up cause none of ya’ll know what you talking about. He’s a good kid, she’s a hoe. It is what it is.
Now I do believe they should be suspended but this whole assault thing is a lie. She lied so that she wouldn’t be sent to military school. but if she is even allowed at Tate again, she better watch out. Many people are frustrated with her. She just ruined a kid’s life by lying.
Her parents should be ashamed. and even if it is true, all she had to do was bite down.
I sent this email on to Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. I encourage other websites who get similar posts and comments that threaten the victim and/or the witnesses to do the same. “Dixielover” might act out her “frustrations.”
