Insurance update

home disasterTravelers Insurance has announced it’s pulling out of Southeast Louisiana effective March, 2007. A huge blow to businesses in New Orleans.

We got news we could cut our homeowners premium from $14,700 to $6900 if you raised our deductible from $500 to $5000 and our hurricane deductible from 2% to 5%.

State legislature is set to meet in January to work on insurance crisis. Expect insurance companies to fair better than homeowners….they always do.
