Press Release: With a week and a half left until the launch of BlabTV’s The Daily Brew, hosts Carly Borden and Willie Spears are announcing the addition of their community contributors, who will appear on the show as roundtable guests and offer insight and commentary.

For the past several weeks, Borden and Spears have been a virtual dynamic duo, visiting community organizations and appearing on radio talk shows. Today’s announcement adds yet another exciting element leading up to the show’s Feb. 16th premiere.

“This is a great opportunity to provide meaningful dialogue from a variety of perspectives,” says Borden. “We are excited about our community contributors. We want The Daily Brew to be a forum for us to talk about current events, community issues, and have fun at the same time.”

Daily Brew community contributors announced today include:

● Pensacola Independent News owner and publisher, Rick Outzen
● Pensacola News Journal Special Features writer, Troy Moon
● Pensacola News Journal Sports Reporters, Bill Vilona and Brian Achatz
● Pensacola News Journal Beach and Gulf Breeze writer, Kimberly Blair
● PensacolaToday.com editor, Shannon Nickinson
● PensacolaToday.com writers, Reggie Dogan and Mollye Barrows

Last December, former Pensacola mayor and The Garden Spot host Mike Wiggins gave his goodbyes to BlabTV after nearly 20 years. Wiggins last fall sold his Wiggins Lawn Spray Service to Lawn Master, which took ownership of the company at the beginning of the new year.

However, Wiggins’s goodbye turned into a ‘see you soon.’

Discussing community events and current news, Wiggins will also serve as a community contributor on The Daily Brew.

“This is a fun and unique opportunity for me and for our community to have a place to discuss all the great things happening in the Pensacola area, as well as take a look at some of the issues we need to work on,” said Wiggins. “Carly and Willie have a great chemistry that is infectious, and I think people will really be impressed by what The Daily Brew is going to be serving up every morning.”

The Daily Brew premiers on Feb. 16th, at 7:00 a.m on BlabTV. In addition to viewing on live broadcast, the show will stream live and also be available on demand at BlabTV.com.
