Foo Foo Fest 2025
Fall is actually the best time of year in Pensacola, and that’s thanks in large part to Foo Foo Fest.
If you’re unfamiliar with this annual festival or you just need a quick refresher, this issue is for you. Now in its 12th year, Foo Foo Fest is a 12-day celebration dedicated to arts and culture. Some events are generously funded through grants by Art, Culture, Entertainment, Inc. (ACE). Others are what they call “Friends of Foo” and are basically just other cultural events happening during the same timeframe.
In this issue, we’re highlighting some of the events we’re most excited about, like Night Moves Fest and Pensacola Opera’s “Rock the Runway” fundraiser. Plus, we included a complete calendar to help you maximize your Foo Foo Fest experience over the next two weeks. And make sure you tune in next week too, because we’ve got an exclusive interview with Night Moves Fest headliner Japanese Breakfast.
Here are our features:

I want to say Hotel Tristan, and the accompanying Tristan Residences will be wonderful for Pensacola, they will allow more people to attend wonderful events like Foo Foo Fest.
For those familiar with the San Luis in Galveston, it is the same thing, to where those who purchase a residence in the Tristan Residences, get certain amenities from the hotel portion of the Tristan as is the case at the San Luis.
My only concern is, the limited number of hotel rooms at the Tristan, and I believe ultimately Pensacola is ready for a development like the San Luis, as long as it is built within what is acceptable for the neighborhood it is in, with both residence and hotel portions, where the residences will have access to hotel amenities as is the case at the San Luis in Galveston and will be at the Hotel Tristan
