Is that grouper in your grouper sandwich?

grouperThe AP is reporting that the Florida’s Attorney General is investigating whether restaurants are substituting cheaper fish for grouper on their menus. If so, it carries a $15,000 fine.

Therion International, the Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based DNA lab that conducted the tests, said its research showed that customers got what they ordered less than half the time in 24 American cities, said company spokesman Will Gergit
