As much as I complain about Sheriff Ron McNesby’s budget, it could be worse. The Herald Tribune (Sarasota) reports that Manatee County Sheriff Brad Steube proposes a $1.8 million increase in his 2008-09 budget — from $96.7 million to $98.5 million.
McNesby may be a bargain…. maybe.
