It’s the Thought that Really Counts

For you procrastinating holiday shoppers, there is still time to purchase a meaningful, yet inexpensive gift.

As the IN reported, FaithWorks Network Inc., a local not for profit geared toward helping the poor, disabled and homeless, has been selling gifts made of recycled billboard materials. These colorful tote bags, wine bottle gift bags and aprons are unique and they serve the unfortunate in this area.

ReWorks, the social enterprise of FaithWorks, hires the homeless and disabled to cut and sew each item, meaning no two are alike. You can purchase these items at various locations such as: Pensacola Museum of Art, 407 S. Jefferson St. or Hermosa Gifts Décor, inside Cordova Mall located at 5100 N. 9th Ave.

For more information about FaithWorks and how you can help beyond purchasing the recycled items go to www.faithworksnetwork.com or call 832-3014.
