Jamal Lee case thrown out

No good witnesses….and the statements given by witnesses were too inconsistent to allow the case to proceed, according to Judge Linda Nobles.

Lee was to go on trial for the murder of Pine Forest High School student Daryl Williams and attempted second-degree murder in the wounding of Marcuis Sullivan. At the time of his arrest, investigators said at least three eye-witnesses identified Lee as the shooter. His defense attorney Patrece Cashwell said that asst. State Attorney David Rimmer had “no evidence, just speculation and mass hysteria”…..looks like she was right.

Lee is a student at Washington High, which could make things dicey if he starts going to class again. When Lee was originally released on bond in 2008, attendance at Pine Forest High School and Washington High School, fell by half amid rumors of retaliation for the killing.
