On Friday, April 29 at 9 a.m., as part of her Joining Forces initiative, Dr. Jill Biden will visit Escambia High School to announce expanded support for allowing children of service members and veterans access to the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) College Readiness Program for Military Families.
By expanding the College Readiness Program, more military-connected schools will be able to provide their students with access to rigorous AP courses and support, and consistent, high-quality educational opportunities, ensuring their competitiveness for college and beyond.
Dr. Biden will be joined by Jason Silva, host of National Geographic Channel’s Brain Games, for a series of mind-bending, scientific challenges between students from local high schools.
