Sarasota Herald Tribune reports that the state budget which goes into effect on July—the one Gov. Rick Scott has proclaimed as the jobs budget– will result in the loss of thousands of jobs:

A $150 million shift of funding from Florida’s transportation budget will result in the loss of more than 8,000 potential jobs, according to state road builders.
