Today, Republican Congressmen will be receiving a letter from Rep. David Jolly in support of Rep. Dan Webster (R-Winter Garden, FL) for Speaker of the House.
As he said in an interview on “Pensacola Speaks” last week, Jolly is convinced that Webster can end the political stagnation that has paralyzed Congress over the past year.
He writes:
“If we want Paul Ryan to revamp our nation’s tax code, reduce the federal debt and get the nation’s books in order, we need Dan Webster as our next Speaker of the House.
If we want Trey Gowdy to crack down on executive overreach, while defending the constitutional
separation of powers, we need Dan Webster as our next Speaker of the House.If we truly want a public servant committed to accomplishing conservative policies through governing, we need Dan Webster as our next Speaker of the House.”
