Judge upholds FDEP revocation of Rolling Hills permit

Wedgewood meeting
Today, Administrative Law Judge D.R. Alexander issued a Recommended Order in the Rolling Hills matter that upheld the Florida Department of Envinronmental Protection’s (FDEP) request to revoke the Rolling Hills permit. The parties can file exceptions to the Recommended Order within 15 days and the agency is expected to issue a Final Order revoking the Rolling Hill’s permit after the 15 days have passed.

The judge wrote in the order that that a troubling aspect of this case was Rolling Hill’s “across-the-board failure to adhere to a number of deadlines and Permit conditions established several years ago, and to make any serious effort to comply with those requirements until it was faced with possible revocation of its Permit.”

Congratulations to the residents in the Wedgwood neighborhood. Here is the recommended order.
