From Kim Carmichael: Oil was close to reaching certain spots on Ft. Pickens Rd today. In the third picture you can see how close the oil is to a turtle’s nest. For the third day in a row nothing was being done to stop oil from entering the pass. Also, for the third day in a row not a soul was even attempting to clean the beach around the point and Ft. Pickens area.
