K-2 Archaeology Story Time on Friday, June 9

The Florida Public Archaeology Network staff hosts an archaeology story time, specifically geared for our youngest members of the public this Friday June 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the headquarters of the Florida Public Archaeology Network located at 207 East Main Street in downtown Pensacola. Space is limited for this free program, so please RSVP by calling 850.595.0050 ext. 105 to save a spot.

The story for this event is “The Great Ball Game: A Muskogee Story.” Parents and their children will discover what archaeology is and how we can learn about Florida’s prehistoric Native Americans from artifacts and through hands-on activities. Children will get to make and take home their own clay pendant with Native American designs. All families with children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are encouraged to join us! Children must be accompanied by an adult through the duration of this program.
