Kathy was an alumnus of North Carolina State University, Class of 1980, and received her commission via the USAF Reserve Officer Training Corps Program.As an Intelligence and Space Operations Officer, she was stationed at Bergstrom AFB (TX), Osan Air Base (Korea), Langley AFB (VA), Buckley Space Force Base (CO), and U.S. Atlantic Command (VA).
Following Kathy’s military retirement, she was the elegant “First Lady of NAS Pensacola,” as the wife of the Commanding Officer. Her dynamic personality and energy made her a very special ambassador in the Pensacola Community.
Kathy’s commitment to the Nation and community was also highlighted by her positions with The Boeing Company (Missile Defense Sector), Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (NAS Pensacola), National Flight Academy, and the University of West Florida.
