ReadyKids! is pleased to announce three free “Kindergarten, Here We Come!” workshops for Escambia County families with children who will be entering kindergarten in fall 2024.
The workshops are designed for rising kindergartners and their families to prepare for the first day of school. The goal for attendees is two-fold: To introduce parents/caregivers to the concept of school readiness while equipping them to best support their child’s transition to kindergarten, and to introduce children to a formal early education setting that will help prepare them for success on day one of kindergarten and beyond.
Workshop details:
Each workshop will be hosted at Global Learning Academy, located at 100 N P St, Pensacola, FL 32505. The workshops are open to all children entering kindergarten this fall regardless of where they will be attending school. Families may choose to attend a workshop on their preferred date from the following options.

Tuesday, June 4, 2024: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, June 6, 2024: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Saturday June 8, 2024: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Saturday’s workshop is offered in both English and Spanish)
Childcare for siblings is available at no cost, a meal will be provided to all attendees, each adult receives a $10 Walmart gift card for attending, and families that register will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 Amazon gift card.

The workshops are a collaborative effort led by ReadyKids! in partnership with Escambia County Public Schools, with funding provided by Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County and Cardoso Law, PLLC.
