WEAR TV 3 reports that CMPA chairman Judge Lacey Collier has asked board members to begin considering removing Hugh King from the board. The issue will be placed on the board’s Feb. 8 agenda.

Last April, King, a former city councilman, was charged with possession of cocaine. He is scheduled to be in court on Monday, when he’s expected to plead no contest to the charge. King has already resigned his position as pastor at the Greater Union Baptist Church.
