Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith (GJTBS) will celebrated 25 years of service to its clients on February 9, 2012. The Firm continues to grow with the recent opening of its office in Atlanta, Georgia, joining its other offices located in Houston, New Orleans, Lafayette, Mandeville, Gulfport, St. Louis, Mobile, Pensacola and Tampa. The attorneys at GJTBS handle a broad range of legal matters for a diverse group of local, state and national clients.

GJTBS was formed in 1987 in New Orleans, Louisiana by John E. Galloway, J. Michael Johnson, James M. Tompkins and Timothy F. Burr to handle maritime, admiralty, and general casualty defense matters. The Firm grew steadily, and the attorneys at GJTBS broadened their expertise to include products liability, employer’s liability, professional liability, property, construction law, transportation, amusements, sports and leisure law, restaurant and retail law, environmental, and energy claims, as well as corporate transactional matters. GJTBS currently employs more than 90 lawyers across seven states with ten office locations.
