Re:                   Endorsement of Liz Campbell, Candidate State House Dist. 3

The Delegates of the Northwest Florida Federation of Labor (known as the Central Labor Council) are proud to announce the support and endorsement of Liz Campbell for representative Florida State House District 3.

President Robert Wood reported the endorsement will now move to the Florida AFL-CIO for their endorsement as well.  President Wood stated “Liz has what it takes to win and really gives the leadership that the citizens want.  She’ll make a fantastic representative for the people of district 3, especially with her military background as a retired chief in the Navy and her love for her community”.

Liz Campbell’s platform for better paying jobs, education, environment, healthcare, and protecting veterans proved well with the 12 Local Unions from the Santa Rosa and Escambia County area.  A unanimous vote and full backing was given to the candidate.  Several Unions are moving toward individually endorsing her in the near future for the Special Election of the Florida State House District 3 seat that was given up by former Rep. Holley Benson.

The Central Labor Council has over thirty affiliates and approximately 50,000 members.  The Council’s territory is from Pensacola to Tallahassee with the majority of the Local Unions coming from the Pensacola area.
