Landrum Better Way Grants

Landrum Consulting Services, a division of Landrum Human Resource Companies, announced the 2012 recipients of the 2nd Annual Working a Better Way grants. The three grant winners were recognized during a Landrum all-staff meeting this morning at the Landrum Corporate office.

The winners are as follows:

Strategic Planning awarded to COPE Center, Inc. -. Landrum will help the COPE Center outline a Strategic Plan to help them establish and achieve their desired goals and vision. Landrum will help them identify and focus on their goals; establish measurable outcomes for those goals, and establish an accountability system.

The mission of the COPE Center, located in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, is to provide the highest quality behavioral healthcare services which are affordable and accessible to the individuals and families served. Learn more about the COPE Center at www.copecenter.org.

Leadership Training awarded to ARC Gateway, Inc. This Landrum certification series is designed to enhance leadership skills for all levels of experience including those new to the supervisor role, experienced supervisors/managers who have not had formal training in management education, and seasoned managers who want to further develop their leadership skills. The certification program requires participation in (6) core courses: Boot Camp for Supervisors; Hiring 101; Dealing with Difficult Employees; Sexual Harassment; Developing and Sustaining a Customer Service Culture; and Supervisor Safety Skills.

Landrum HR On-call awarded to Manna Food Bank, Inc. Landrum On-Call is human resources management consultation and assistance at your fingertips. Landrum will provide 40 hours of Human Resources support by assigning a certified Human Resources Manager to assist the Manna Food Bank, Inc. with employment related issues.

Manna Food Bank is located in Pensacola, Florida and operates six food pantries in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. In the past 12 months, MANNA has helped more than 38,000 people, including over 16,000 families; learn more at www.mannafoodpantries.org.
