Press Release: Emmett Scully, President of Columbia, South Carolina based Synergetic, Inc., and H. Britt Landrum, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Landrum Professional Employer Services, Inc. of Pensacola, Florida, announced today a merger between their two companies. At the same time, Landrum also announced a merger with North Carolina based, Employer Administrative Services, Inc. (EASI).

The December 31st transaction creates one of the largest professional employer organizations (PEOs) serving the Carolinas. Landrum Professional, ranked by the Staffing Industry Index as the 13th largest PEO in the U. The newly-combined companies will become the co-employer of over 11,000 worksite employees working in 33 states.

With the merger, Scully will become President of the Carolina Region for Landrum Professional Employer Services. The Synergetic and EASI teams will continue to represent and service all clients and employees as they have in the past, but with the added benefits of the larger organization.

According to CEO Britt Landrum, clients in the Carolinas will enjoy a close relationship with human resources support personnel and have access to sophisticated time keeping and reporting systems, remote Internet access to records and reports, and remote “on-boarding “ of new employees.
