The word is Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) may try to take back his resignation and his guilty plea. Craig had been arrested for lewd conduct in a men’s bathroom on June 11, 2007, and lated pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct
I found a transcript of Craig’s police interview in which he never confesses ( Police interview) and a copy of his mail-in plea. The mail-in plea form may be invalid because it fails to advise Craig of his right to counsel ( Craig plea).
Craig may not be leaving the U.S. Senate after all.
