Later Sunday Home Games for Blue Wahoos

The Blue Wahoos  announced that Sunday home games in July and August will move to a 4 p.m. first pitch, with gates opening at 2:30 p.m. Games that will reflect this change are July 15, August 12 and August 19. The time change is in response to survey results that indicate more than 55 percent of fans would prefer a later start time.
Due to Minor League Baseball guidelines, the holiday weekend and to accommodate player travel, the final two games on the Wahoos home schedule, Sunday, September 2 and Monday, September 3, will remain at 2 p.m.
Moving the Sunday start times back is the most recent example of the Blue Wahoos taking action on fan surveys. Another notable change is the addition of a new auxiliary scoreboard installed on the façade of the press box for fans sitting in outfield areas.
