Update on Network Security Incident
(6:00 pm, Mar. 18, 2024)
The following is an update on the ongoing network security incident affecting the Pensacola City Government.

The City of Pensacola’s Innovation and Technology Department continues to investigate the incident while also going through a deliberate process to restore our information network.

While some services have been impacted, the City of Pensacola has remained operational throughout this incident.

  • City emails and many city landlines are in service.
  • Our 311 Citizen Support system is now fully operational as of Monday afternoon.
  • Online bill payments, including Pensacola Energy and City of Pensacola Sanitation Services, have not yet been restored.
  • 911 and emergency dispatch services remain operational. However, non-emergency calls to the Pensacola Police Department should go to (850) 293-4717 or (850) 977-1534. Non-emergency calls to the Pensacola Fire Department should go to (850) 512-0612. PFD headquarters can be reached at (850) 436-5251.

We are still awaiting an estimate for when all services will be fully restored. Until then, we continue to ask our citizens to please be patient as we work through these challenges.

Due to the security issues surrounding this incident, specific information will not be released. However, as the Innovation and Technology Department continues to make headway, the City of Pensacola will provide updates to the public.

As a reminder, Mayor D.C. Reeves will hold his weekly press conference at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall.
