This year’s LeaP program spanned 22 months, 12 months longer than the average timeline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each graduating class develops a moniker that perfectly describes that class’s year of triumphs, obstacles, and memories. The LeaP Class of 2022 is marked as the “Longest & Most Resilient Class Everâ€.
The Greater Pensacola Chamber created LeaP in 1982 to develop and foster community-minded leaders. Each year, individuals are selected to participate in the 10-month program, which includes completing a comprehensive class project. The LeaP Class of 2022 completed two class projects, creating 3 Born Learning Trails for the Ready Kids! organization and building a gazebo to serve both the volunteers and patients of the Health & Hope Clinic organization.
