League of Women Voter offers nonpartisan online voter education tool

The League of Women Voters of the Pensacola Bay Area announces the launch of its new nonpartisan online voter education tool www.VOTE411.org on Tuesday, July 31.  VOTE411.org is a “one-stop-shop”, providing simple tools to help voters in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties navigate the voting process for the upcoming primary and general elections.  It contains candidate information, voter registration tools, constitutional amendment analysis, polling place locations and other helpful Election information.
With over 50 contenders running in 19 different races at the Federal, State, and Local levels, voters need a reliable way to compare candidates.  For help looking beyond the campaign rhetoric and advertising blitzes, head over to www.VOTE411.org.  There you will find detailed candidate information, including candidates’ direct responses to issue-related questions, as well as information about the election process in Florida (an election schedule, polling place locator, and information on voter registration). Users can visit www.VOTE411.org on Tuesday, July 31, and enter their addresses to find information from the candidates they will see on their ballot.
These last weeks before Election Day are an important time for all voters to take advantage of every available opportunity to get their questions answered by the candidates. Voting is the one time when all citizens have an equal say in standing up for the issues and priorities that matter most to us and our community.  The League of Women Voters urges all Florida citizens to visit www.VOTE411.org and vote by mail, vote early, or vote on election day August 28, 2018!
