Less than one-percent of county tested for COVID-19

As the noon report from DOH, positive cases and deaths continue to increase. Escambia County has not reported an additional case since 7 p.m Friday, but Okaloosa had two more, Santa Rosa one.

Eight more people have died who tested positive for COVID-19 in Broward, Dade, Lee, Pasco, Pinellas and Volusia counties.

Escambia County reported at 10 a.m. that 25 samples were collected by hospitals and 219 by the drive-thru facilities on Friday. Since March 5, 2,404 samples have been collected – less than one percent of Escambia County’s population –0.75%.
