Let’s ALL Play

The inclusion of children and youth with disabilities is not limited to school programs. Summer camps, athletic teams, scouts, clubs and faith-based groups provide opportunities for all kinds of children.

While enthusiasm may be in place, staff for these programs may have never be afforded the opportunity to attend training to increase their skills for the optimal provision of service to youth with disabilities.

To address this need in the Pensacola area, the Florida Inclusion Network, with support from Autism Pensacola is providing a workshop entitles “Let’s ALL Play “on June 5, 2012 from 8:30-3:30 at the Gulf Power Building at 500 Bayfront Parkway.

This workshop features Mr. Aron Hall from the National Inclusion Project. Mr. Hall has trained recreational staff across the nation to better serve children with disabilities along side of their non-disabled peers.

While the event is free and open to all recreational providers, the number of participants will be limited, therefore registration is mandatory. Interested parties can register online at letsallplaypensacola.eventbrite.com or by calling Debra Early-Magouyrk at 469-5413.
