Lewis Bear appointed to Enterprise Florida Board


Press Release: Senate President Don Gaetz (R-Niceville) has announced the appointments of Senator Nancy C. Detert (R-Venice) and Lewis Bear Jr. to the Enterprise Florida Inc. Board of Directors.

Detert, 68, is currently the owner of Primary Creative Solutions, Inc. She currently serves as State Senator to District 28 which includes Sarasota and part of Charlotte counties. Detert received her bachelor’s degree from Sienna Heights College. Originally appointed to Enterprise Florida’s board of directors by CFO Atwater in 2009, Senator Detert has been reappointed for a term beginning immediately and ending at the discretion of the Senate President.

Bear, 71, of Gulf Breeze is president and chief executive officer of the Lewis Bear Company. He received his bachelor’s degree from Troy University. Bear has been appointed for a term beginning immediately and ending September 30, 2015.
