Last summer, Superintendent Malcolm Thomas converted Lincoln Park Elementary School from a prekindergarten through fifth-grade school to a primary school that only served students in pre-K through third grade. After receiving its second consecutive failing grade from the Florida Department of Education last year, the principal and teachers were reassigned to other schools and a brand-new staff came in.
Lincoln Park showed no improvement and appears to be on track to get its third consecutive failing grade:
Reading – Proficient:  2013 22%  2014 21%
