Wendi Summers of News Radio 1620 will host veteran radio personality and local community activist, Linda Lawrence, on her morning talk show, “Pep Talk with Wendi Summers.” Lawrence will be live on the air with Summers on Friday, May 18, 2010, from 9-11am.
Lawrence, who had been a popular voice on Pensacola morning radio until 2011 and had graced the airwaves for over 20 years, has remained very involved in the community, both in Pensacola and within various social media outlets. She continues to keep in touch with her fans both near and far and is certain to bring her special brand of spontaneity to Friday’s broadcast.
“We are very excited to host such a remarkable icon from the history of local radio,” said Summers. “This Friday’s show promises to be fun and entertaining, and we just really don’t know, as we never did, what Linda will say next!â€
