Listen Local at Maritime Park

city press release:

The City of Pensacola’s Neighborhood Services Department announced this afternoon the FREE “Listen Local” benefit concert series, featuring talented local musicians from Pensacola and the surrounding area. The concert series will be held on Wednesday evenings this summer at the Community Maritime Park and will showcase the Randall K. and Martha A. Hunter Amphitheater, located on beautiful Pensacola Bay.

The first concert in the series, featuring Bella Orange, will be held on Wednesday, June 5 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Each date in the concert series will offer residents a fun, family-oriented way to support local charitable organizations. The Wednesday, June 5 concert will benefit the USO, with attendees asked to bring individually packaged snacks for our troops. The following week’s concert, on Wednesday, June 12, will feature The Blenders and benefit the March of Dimes. Additional concert dates include June 19, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, August 21, and August 28.

“This free concert series is a great way for families to enjoy an evening together on the bay,” said Mayor Ashton Hayward. “This is another outstanding program from our Neighborhood Services department, and another reason why Pensacola is such a great place to live, work, and play.”

Each concert in the series will be free and open to the public. No pets or glass containers are allowed, but blankets, chairs and coolers are welcome.
