Lister may have stolen up to $1.2 million

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that former finance employee Cathy Lister may have stolen as much as $1.2 million from the ECSO over the past 10 years. The ECSO is still the lead investigative agency on this crime and will continue to dig into the records of the McNesby and Lowman administration. The State Attorney’s Office will be amending the charges against Lister as the case progresses.
