Little turkey for the panhandle

Florida TaxWatch recommended the governor veto 105 “turkeys,” projects it said were either added to the budget after bypassing normal review processes or were not requested by an agency or the governor -total cost $203 million.

Walton has projects totals $1.3 million on the list. The daily newspaper reports that the City of Pensacola has one, a turnabout, for $417,000. None for Santa Rosa or Okaloosa counties.

Either our state lawmakers are very conscientious or they are better a passing fertilizer and gun bills than helping their districts.

The rest of the state gets turkey. We just get ham.
