The judge in Belle Foods’ bankruptcy case has approved the sale of seven stores to six buyers. According to bankruptcy court filings, Food World stores in Mobile, Ala., and in Pensacola, Fla., will go to Mobile-based Autry Greer & Sons, operator of 30 Greer’s Market and Cash Saver stores.
Unfortunately, the sale doesn’t include all the Pensacola area stores. The Food World at 7859 Pine Forest Road in Pensacola is still closing, but there is pending sale for the Lillian Highway location. Fisher Douglas LLC has offered $150,000 for the 4320 Lillian Highway Food World in Pensacola.
