The Board of County Commissioners will have to add additional half hour to its meetings for County Administrator to go over all this relationships with various parties involved in the staff recommendations on the agenda. Then each commissioner will need to report on any property purchases or hunting/fishing trips that they have gone on with Mr. Touart since the last meeting.
Or maybe the first question on each motion should be “Mr. Touart, do you or any of your companies do business with this person?” Then the County Attorney and other senior staff can explain how that relationship is not a conflict or illegal.
Or maybe the BOCC should offer to trade Mr. Touart to City of Pensacola for the Port.
